How much raclette per person?
The source cited here gives 200–250 g of raclette cheese per person, and the same range for potatoes. EventCalc uses 225 g per component — the midpoint of that range. Raclette is deliberately planned as a multi-part meal: cheese and potatoes appear separately, never merged into one invented total.
Quantities per component
| Component | Source range | EventCalc basis | Per child (assumption) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Raclette cheese | 200–250 g | 225 g | 135 g |
| Potatoes | 200–250 g | 225 g | 135 g |

Meat is optional
The same source additionally gives around 150 g of meat per person if meat is served with the raclette. EventCalc treats that as a separate, optional choice: plan no meat and no meat line appears in the shopping list. Pick several kinds of meat and they share that one total, rather than each counting in full.
